Located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, this 35,000 S.F. three-story medical office building will provide new spaces for several out-patient medical clinics. The largest of these clinics, Cleveland Urology Associates, will occupy the ground floor, and will include new exam rooms, offices, radiology and cancer treatment suites, and a two-bed operating suite.
The building design is conceived as three rectilinear masses- each with a distinctive exterior cladding- that intersect in stepped fashion to create flat roof decks for the each of the upper levels of the building. Renewable wood slat rain-screen cladding is proposed for the main body of the building, augmented with black basalt tiles at the western section of the building. Pervious parking pavements, on-site bio-retention ponds, and landscaping featuring indigenous plant species are just a few of the sustainable site features planned for the property.
