This master plan for a “lifestyle” retail center was to be anchored by an existing landscape nursery in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The mixed-use project featured 280,000 s.f. of retail space, 65,000 s.f. of office space, and 160 apartments located above the retail store footprints. Inspired by the scale and vitality of nearby Ann Arbor’s downtown district, a boutique cinema was to be located adjacent to the intersection of the two main retail streets.
